Project Description: Contaminated Site Remediation

Project Details: Hansen Environmental were contracted by a State Government Authority to assess the site and write procedures as well as implement the works for the Excavation and Remediation of this site which was contaminated with Dieldrin and Aldrin.

While investigating treatment and disposal methods for the contaminated soil, HES in conjunction with Eclipse Resources came to the conclusion to treat the contaminated soil with an Activating Agent.

Site Remediation was sucessfully completed and reinstated and due to this innovative process of treatment the client was able to save over $1.4 million dollars in cleanup costs.
