Project Description: Hydraulic Oil Spill Cleanup
Project Details: Hansen Environmental were called at 3am to assess, manage and control as well as liaise with authorities regarding a large area of the Fremantle Dock’s covered in hydraulic oil.
It was critical that the oil did not reach the slotted drains in the wharf as they drained into the river.
The area was contained with absorbent booms and global peat and the clean-up proceeded over the next day.
Due to prompt response and actions taken no oil reached the river and the area was totally cleaned.
